My number one most-viewed article on this site is still the one about how I got my old 1998 Furby to work again… amazing.
Any ideas on how to fix a 1999 furby? I looked for the gear shown in other photos behind the mouth on the left.. I am not seeing a gear? It’s Been very well taken care of. If I can figure out how to upload a photo I will. But mine is the purple and green 1999 furby. Thank you so much!
I only now saw this comment. Did you find a solution? I have a few others but they were all bought at the same time so I expect the ones I have still in boxes are also originals.
I came home from school and saw a 1998/1999 furby and I tried to turn it on with batteries and it failed so I got it to work by moving the ears up and down then spanking it and then I pressed the reset button for 3 seconds and it turned on
There is a reset button? I am not sure I knew that. Or if I did, I forgot about it.
I’ll add “spanking the Furby” to my tech support list.
