Details:

Current version is 1.2

added support for hours, so it can now print "within the past 2 hours" or "within the past 5 hours and 13 minutes" properly. (once you go over a minute, seconds are not displayed).

Past updates:

added flock() file locking
incorporated enhancements from Chris Overstreet to let the output be more customizable ("There have been 12 net junkies on within the past 5 minutes.")
added a welcome back option ("Weren't you just here?") which can be printed for repeat visitors.
fixed a bug in the timespan output to make it properly round minutes rather than showing a bunch of decimal places (d'oh!).
added provision to count multiple visits within the timespan (for use as a hit counter rather than a visitor counter).
...and maybe some other things.
